Plucky works on Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11 (see below).

Windows 11

Those using Plucky earlier than 1.10.23 should run:

pluck repair
pluck + block searchhost.exe

Windows 8.1 and below

None of the major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) support Windows 8.1 or below as of 2024-10-02.

Caveat emptor!

Windows 7 and below

Some older versions of Plucky supported XP and Vista, but it is unlikely they will work nowadays on such old systems. If you absolutely must use one of these legacy systems and you’re willing to pay for the many hours of work involved (it will likely cost more than a new computer), email us, tell us about your situation, and we’ll see if we can work something out.
