Incompatibility

Plucky is incompatible with some other software when using the system and nhb features. If both are enabled, then the Internet may become inaccessible if Plucky is installed alongside some other products, some of which are listed below. If the Internet becomes inaccessible, first see troubleshooting. If problems persist, either stop using the NHB feature or uninstall one of the conflicting products.

Also, some antivirus products are incompatible with Plucky even when not using system or nhb. See here for compatible alternatives.

WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux)

Plucky partially supports WSL. Those who use WSL are encouraged may find pluck + nhb beneficial, as it blocks a lot of programs by default.

Plucky works fine with good-old Cygwin.

You can prevent installation of WSL using:

pluck + block program wsl.exe

or the more drastic:

pluck + unadmin your_username_here
