The majority of users click the “update” button and are using a fairly recent version of Plucky.

For those who are hesitant, here is some information that might convince you that updating is worth it.

If you do not update Plucky/Pluckeye for a long time, the consequences might include:

  1. Unfiltered Internet.

  2. Completely blocked Internet.

  3. Permanent inability to uninstall Plucky.

  4. Some kind of inbetween experience where Plucky kinda-sorta-half-way works.

  5. Maybe nothing.

In addition to the above some old versions of Pluckeye have been known to “pound servers” (usually because of bugs). Using software that does this is kind of like driving a car that has a broken muffler and spews pollution everywhere it drives. Please, get that car fixed!
