while Plucky is primarily a self-control tool, it can also be used as a parental control tool.

How exactly it is used depends on the age of the children, whether the computer is shared, and how much responsibility the child will be given.

Plucky is probably a good fit if the child uses Linux because there aren’t really many alternatives. If the child uses Windows, macOS, or in the case of clueless, spineless, or uncaring parents, a smart phone, the parents might want to check out monitoring software as well or another filter.
