To install, see how to install.

From a browser (easy)

In Chrome, Brave, Edge, or a similar browser:

  1. Click the Plucky button.
  2. Click “config”.
  3. Click the “delay” button and set the delay to 0 seconds.
  4. Wait until the delay expires.
  5. Click “uninstall” (on the same page where the delay was changed).
  6. Restart the browser.

Via a console

Alternatively, one can uninstall using the uninstall command in a console window (regardless of the operating system). First set the delay to 0, like this:

pluck delay 0

Then wait for the old delay to elapse so that the new delay takes effect. This can be confirmed by running:

pluck delay

Then run the uninstall command:

pluck uninstall

When uninstall fails

If you uninstalled Plucky, but still see it in your browser, do this:

  1. Restart your browser.

If your browser is edge, then instead, log out of windows, and log back in, because by default, edge keeps on running even if you close all windows.

If Plucky still remains in your browser, try the following sequence

  1. Reinstall Plucky.

  2. Reboot.

  3. Uninstall.

  4. Reboot.

If that still fails, please file a bug report.
