Microsoft Edge is one of two browsers that Plucky fully supports. It’s also the only Chromium-based browser that has full Plucky support since Edge still supports MV2 extensions.

On Windows, Edge is installed by default.

How to enable support for Edge

On Windows and macOS, Edge is supported out of the box unless the user makes a configuration mistake. This section primarily pertains to enabling support for Edge on Ubuntu Linux.

  1. Run these commands:
pluck - noedge
pluck + okedge
  1. Restart Edge. If the Plucky extension still isn’t installed…

  2. Run this command:

pluck + now+30m allow program msedge port:443
pluck expedite msedge

The expedite is necessary if your delay is long. Otherwise, you can omit it.

  1. When the allow ... mesedge rule is effective, relaunch Edge again.
