This page explains which Internet browsers Plucky supports.

Supported

The main browsers Plucky supports are Edge and Firefox. Click on the links below to see their respective manual pages for additional notes.

Partially supported

Although in the past Chrome, Brave and Vivaldi were all fully supported, since these browsers broke support for MV2 extensions Plucky no longer works well with them.

However if you’re willing to use a legacy version of these browsers that can never be updated, click the links below for instructions on how to do that.

Accidentally supported

These are browsers that we’ve made no attempt at supporting, but for some reason work anyways. If these browsers ever stop working with Plucky, please don’t expect us to fix it.

  • Brave Origin (on Linux)
  • Helium (on Linux)

Unsupported

If you drive a browser not listed on this page, it means we have never attempted to include it in our supported browsers and you should assume it won’t workthis includes Safari and Internet Explorer.

If it does work (such as in the case of the acidentally supported browsers above), that’s great! But if it doesn’t, please don’t message us about it. Your browser is undocumented for a reason. We don’t have the time or resources to spend trying to support every niche, derivative browser project on the planet.
