If an overzealous antivirus product has done violence to Plucky (or if you yourself have done violence to Plucky) and you want to fix Plucky, do the following:

  1. Disable the problematic antivirus product.

  2. Download the Plucky installer from https://getplucky.net/ if you can.

  3. If you can’t download the installer on your broken computer, use a second computer to download the installer and then transfer the installer to your broken computer using a USB thumb drive or similar file transfer strategy.

  4. Run the Plucky installer on the broken computer.
